We’re excited to launch our luxury beach day, bringing a bit of the St. Tropez beach club life to Newport Beach, Santa Monica, Malibu, and New England

This is our base beach day, with add-on offerings including fresh coconuts and charcuterie

Just show up, take a dip in the ocean, and spend the day enjoying cold bevies as you lounge in the shade

Tbh this is our dream day, and we hope it’s yours too!

This last year was a whirlwind. With each step forward, the universe seemed to put us two steps back. In a combination of beautiful events and significant hardship, we kept our heads down, continuing to push through…and we finally feel like we’ve made it to the other side!

Last summer, we closed our venue. A venue that never had the chance to really open. Something that had been a longtime dream of ours, unraveled at the hands of a negligent landlord

We eventually regrouped and found strength again, deciding to expand our business to the East Coast. On the day of our photoshoot to relaunch, we discovered our entire inventory had been destroyed at our storage facility due to a natural disaster

In all honesty, we did not think we would recover from that. We didn’t even think we wanted to try. We had so many conversations, trying to decide if we should rebuild or close the picnic side entirely to focus solely on full-service events

But we weren’t ready to let go of our legacy. So we decided, let’s do both! Revamp the picnic side entirely, while continuing to produce the full-service events we have been doing for years now

So we restocked our picnic essentials this week, on both coasts this time! Call us crazy, but we wanted to see this through

Each hardship was a lesson. Each challenge an opportunity to pivot. So we did, and we did it again and again. We put our faith in God and know we’ve come back stronger because of it

Thank you for continuing to support us. Thank you for staying here even when we weren’t

As we open this new chapter we are calling Dolce Design House, we invite you to view our latest offerings and scope out the new aesthetic we have for our beach picnics

Our favorite part of planning is getting to really know our guests + keeping those details in mind throughout the design process

When we learned this couple enjoys refined chocolate tastings, we immediately knew it needed to be included in their wedding

Our initial thought was the chocolate station offered by the catering, but we wanted something more meaningful

So we created a chocolate seating chart that doubled as an interactive experience. Guests found their bar on the wall of chocolate, which contained their table number

At each place setting, there was a name tag alongside a spoon. On the spoon were pairings. On the card was a description of their specific chocolate bar (there were three types of chocolate) and that pairing

People loved it (and so did we)!

Part 2:

Okay so perhaps, it may have been a poor financial investment for us as a business, but when it came to events…we can’t say it was a huge failure

We hosted dozens of beautiful events, workshops, and photoshoots. From balloon classes by @whatwillitbri to next-level events by @lavenderbeeevents and @blushwoodco we did make a small impact on our community

One of our favorite days was our styled shoot, which was as close to hosting a grand opening party that we ever got…at least we had wine, oysters, and music by @thejoemarx

In December, we were featured on the cover of @newportbeachlivingmagazine detailing all three of our businesses from the venue to our full-service planning

Last month, we hosted an event with Purina where we had the chance to host, design, and produce a stunning dinner party

We are full of gratitude and thankful for the experience! Sometimes in life, one door shuts so another can open…and in this case, it has opened several doors!

Next month, we officially launch our New England headquarters and will be expanding our team both in California and out east. It may be a while before we consider opening a venue again (we frankly feel a bit jaded on that concept at this point) but we are ready to dive back into picnics and throwing parties along both coastlines

we added a floral license plate, flower vent clips, and a boho-floral steering wheel cover

to top it off, we added our Pretty Flowers decal to the back so that people know we turn a little slow since we have precious cargo in the back…can you tell we love flowers?!
